Each person has an inherent divine nature that can be revealed by controlling both external and internal nature through various means like work, worship, psychic control, or philosophy. The true goal of religion is to manifest this inner divinity and achieve freedom, while doctrines, rituals and other religious aspects are secondary details. The universe is fundamentally one, with only one self and existence. One must believe in themselves to truly believe in God.

Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity within, by controlling nature, external and internal.

Do this either by work, or worship, or psychic control, or philosophy by one, or more, or all of these and be free. This is the whole of religion. Doctrines, or dogmas, or rituals, or books, or temples, or forms, are but secondary details. The whole universe is one. There is only one Self in the universe, only One Existence. You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.
