Contributions to the Biggert-Dold Victory Committee are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. Funds received in response to this solicitation are subject to federal contribution limits. Contributions by foreign nationals and corporations are prohibited. Joint fundraising proceeds will be allocated evenly and equally among the two participants (1/2 each), subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended. All contributions permissible under the Act that would cause a contributor to exceed any applicable Federal limit to a participant shall be reallocated to the remaining participants based upon the remaining participants' proportionate share under the allocation formula. Notwithstanding this formula, contributors may designate their contributions to any participant, subject to the Act. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
