FII Investments

- The table shows net investments by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the Indian capital market from 1992-93 to 2011-12. - FIIs first began investing in India in January 1993 and have invested large sums each year, with total investments reaching over Rs. 114,901 crores in 2009-10 and Rs. 110,718 crores in 2011-12. - Investment amounts fluctuated monthly as well as yearly, with some months and years seeing large inflows and others seeing substantial outflows.
