Android Devices (Internet and MMS settings)

Step by step visual Guideline for Android Devices:

1) Go to Settings of your Android Device

2) Then tap

Wireless & Network

3) Go to Mobile networks

4) Then go to Access Point Names

5) Do the following to setup internet: a) Tap on New APN b) Under Name, type: Internet c) Tap Ok

d) Under APN, type: gpinternet e) Tap Ok

6) Go to APN Type and select Internet a) Tap Ok b) Press Menu again c) Tap SAVE

+ MMS

7) This will be the view after setting APN Type a) You may need to reboot the device to make it working for the first time.

MMS APN settings


8) Please follow steps 1-5 and then set MMS as below instructions:

a) Tap on New APN b) Under Name, type: MMS, tap Ok. c) Under APN, type: gpmms d) MMSC: http://mms.gpsurf.net/servlets/mms e) MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.2 f) MMS Port: 8080

g) APN Type: mms (This part is the most important; you wont be able to use MMS if you dont choose mms as the type) h) Press Menu i) j) Tap SAVE Done ( You may need to reboot once after the settings)

k) Note: MMS settings are in Messages >> tap Menu >> Settings.
