Enhance Standard IDOC with Custom Infotype

1. Go to transaction code WE31 (Segment Editor). Enter segment name Z1P9001, for example. Click on Create.

2. Enter all fields from custom Infotype P9XXX structure. Refer any standard Infotype E1P0006, ex.

3. Release Segment 4. Go to WE30, enter IDoc type HRMD_A07, for example. Select Extension , click on create.

5. Link extension to basic type as below.

6. Add segment to IDoc, select Go to -> Create Segment. Enter Segment name, min & max number of records.

7. IDoc extension is displayed with custom segment.

8. Release IDoc

9. Add extension type to message type. Go to SM30, enter EDIMSG. Maintain entry as below with Message type, Basic type, extension and release.

10. Go to transaction code WE20(Partner profiles) and add extension type.

11. Go to PM01-> enter custom Infotype-> technical attributes->select custom Infotype-> enter IDOC segment as custom segment name.
