CURRENT RESEARCH
Aiming to utilize the SHM tool and develop Life-Cycle Assessment charts for Preservation and Rehabilitation (LCA-PR) of historic structures, this system is designed to obtain a novel and quantitative method for the structural assessment of historic structures and make SHM the real time and long-term technology through quantifiable parameters and the LCA-PR charts. Moreover, this project depicts the implementation of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of cultural heritage which can detect, quantify, localize and classify structural damage through sensing system, and also statistically analyze the extracted features from the collected data to determine certain diagnostic patterns.
