The document discusses various ways that mirrors can be used in interior design to make a space appear larger than its actual size. Some techniques mentioned include placing mirrors opposite windows to reflect views, hanging mirrors between two windows or along walls to add a sense of depth and width, and using floor-to-ceiling mirrors or large central mirrors to double the apparent size of a room. Mirrors can also be used to reflect objects like paintings to add visual interest or disguise unattractive areas by making them blend into the overall space.

Placing Mirror Opposite the Window

Explanation !!!

By placing mirrors opposite the window we can reflect light and replicate the view. The attractive view outside the window can be reflected to give a comfortable surrounding and more lighting into the area.

Placing Mirrors Along The Wall

Do you Have Point Here?

By fixing mirrors on either sides of the wall, we can add width to a narrow area. This creates an illusion in which the space is visually seen larger than its actual size. For example, placing mirror over a fire place. It is not only reflects the light, thus it creating the illusion of space but provides a focal point and reflects the heat around the room.

Hanging Mirror in between two windows

Not understand?

Mirrors hung between two windows can add depth significantly to the room. It gives a feeling of extended space beyond the confines of the area.

From Floor to Ceiling Mirror

What does you mean?

Although floor to ceiling mirrors are very expensive, it makes any space seem twice the size and give a dramatic view to the space.

Placing Mirror at the centre

Huhhh???

This is to increase the rooms visual depth, a dark rich colour must be painted on the wall, and place a large mirror in the centre.

To Reflect an Object

OkNow I totally out

Not only light and open spaces can be reflected, but objects too. Hanging a mirror opposite a floral portrait painting will reproduce the image and add height to the room. The same trick with a classy landscape picture will add width. Hanging a few mirrors, and placing them behind vases and candles. This will bring the best out of the feature, and provide depth.

Place Mirror to Make things Disappear

Hope This Is The Last One

use mirrors to make things disappear, providing the illusion of an empty space. If the specific area is awkward or is not pleasant to the eyes, just hang mirrors on that section and they will melt into the room.
