Rafiq carried out an investigation to find out the volume of 5 marbles. He poured 30 cm of water into a measuring cylinder. He used marbles of the same size and dropped the marbles, one at a time, into the cylinder as shown in diagram 4. An investigation was carried out by Puan Hidayah to find out the ability of by material to absorb water. Three types of materials were placed in trays A, B and C respectively as shown in diagram below. After 2 minutes , the materials were removed from the trays. The remaining water in each tray was poured each into a measuring cylinder. Shafiq carried out an investigation with gears of four different diameters. Each gear is fixed one at a time onto the position of gear Y. The iron chain is then spun around as shown in Diagram 15. Hashim is carrying out an investigation. Diagram 16 shows Hashim is trying to move a load by using a lever. He finds that it is difficult to move the load. Hashim menjalankan satu penyiasatan.Rajah 16 menunjukkan Hashim cuba menggerakkan beban dengan menggunakan tuas.Dia mendapati amat susah untuk menggerakkan beban itu.
