Synopsis Minor

This project aims to convert DTMF tones into displayed numbers on a 7-segment display. An 8870 IC converts DTMF tones into binary signals which are fed into an 8051 microcontroller. The microcontroller then displays the corresponding numbers on two 7-segment displays from 0 to 9. The '*' symbol is displayed as 10 and '#' is displayed as 11. The circuit diagram and components used include an 8870 IC, 8051 microcontroller, 7805 voltage regulator, resistors, capacitors, LEDs, and two 7-segment displays.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The main purpose of project is to converting the DTMF tone and displaying the pressed numeric key on 7 segments display. Project uses 8870 ic to convert DTMF tone in binary signals and 8051 controller is used to display it on 7 segments. Two 7 segments will be used to display the numbers pressed from 0 to 9. * will be displayed by 10 and # by 11. Binary output of 8870 will be given to controller and two seven segments will be attached to another port to get output according to given input.
