Alternator Specification

DC shunt is a very useful tool, especially when working with higher amperages. Shunt designed to read voltage drops due to the resistance of the metal between the two meter lead connections. If the battery will not charge, the fault may be the battery, rectifier (diode), regulator / rectifier or stator.
