COMPUTER NETWORKS
LAN: is a local area network that has range of less than 10 kilometers. Computers in this network are linked by telephone cable or fiber optic cable. For e.g network used within a small campus.
MAN: is metropolitan area network with in a range of 10 to 100 km. It uses specific telephone line or fiber optic cable.
WAN: is wide area network with a starting range of 100 km it uses mostly satellite link. It covers a country or continent.

Multimedia is a computer-based interactive communications process that incorporates text, graphics, sound, animation, and video. Digital signals can be sent for long distances and suffer less interference than Analog signals.
