Curves are one of the most important tools. They provide a control to alter tone & contrast.
Curves are more powerful than the Levels tool.
Curves provide an interface to mimic a Film characteristic.
Curves can alter specic highlight, shadow, and midrange points on the tonal curve.
Curves can be used to colour correct.
