Half Wave

This document describes an experiment to analyze the output of a half-wave rectifier circuit both without and with a smoothing capacitor. The objectives are to calculate and draw the DC output voltages. The circuit includes an AC power supply, diode, resistors, and capacitors. Measurements are taken of the input and output voltages both with a voltmeter and oscilloscope. The output voltage is analyzed at different capacitor values to observe the effect of smoothing.
