Midterm Project

This document presents a research project that examines factors that may impact student test scores. The hypothesis is that the number of hours students watch television each day will negatively affect their math proficiency exam scores, as more television means less time to study. It also hypothesizes that students who receive free lunch, coming from lower-income families, will score lower than students who don't receive free lunch. Additionally, it predicts that girls who watch less television than boys will score higher on math exams.
