Tanisha Stanciel 7953 Delmar Blvd University City, MO 63130 School District of University City 8136 Groby Rd.

University City, MO 63130 To Whom It May Concern: I am Tanisha Stanciel and I am interested in being your Director of Communications. I currently hold a Bachelor in Communications/Public Relations and a Masters in Special Education. I have been working in the educational setting since 2003. It is very rarely that I actually find a position where I can combine my two passions of public relations and education. This position excites me because I possess leadership qualities that include being positive, flexible, a team player, dependable, and honest. I use technology on a daily basis and I can be helpful to those around me. However, as an administrator, I do know there are deadlines to be met and I hold high expectations for those that I oversee. With keeping the morale high, I strive to work with the team and as long as we work together and not against each other; we can accomplish any task set before us to make the school district successful. I have worked in the educational setting since 2003 as an ambassador for a University, an admissions counselor for second University and then finally a special educator so I am firmly aware of the issues facing our educational school system today. I understand how parental involvement is lacking and how the community tends to feel that the schools are failing our students even if teachers and administration are doing the best they can to educate our students on a daily basis. I look forward to speaking with someone about this position! Sincerely,

Tanisha Stanciel
