Miniature Motors provide magneto-resistive encoders with various resolutions from 4 to 512 pulses per revolution. The encoders operate from 4.5 to 5.5 volts with a nominal current of 20 mA and maximum of 25 mA. They can output square waves at frequencies up to 1.28 MHz with rise and fall times of 60 ns. The encoders also have a maximum phase shift of 90 degrees ±45 degrees and pulse widths of 50% ±15% for channels A and B.
