The Science

By definition, science is the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of natural phenomena. Like many areas of our lives, the field of science is bound by rules and regulations regarding its application and use.

The Branches of Science The Physical Sciences Physics: The study of matter and energy and the interactions between them. Chemistry: The science that deals with the composition, properties, reactions, and the structure of matter Astronomy: The study of the universe beyond the Earth's atmosphere The Earth Sciences Geology: The science of the origin, history, and structure of the Earth, and the physical, chemical, Oceanography: The exploration and study of the ocean. Paleontology: The science of the forms of life that existed in prehistoric or geologic periods. Meteorology: The science that deals with the atmosphere and its phenomena, such as weather and climate.

Botany: The study of plants. Zoology: The science that covers animals and animal life. Genetics: The study of heredity. Medicine: The science of diagnosing, treating, and preventing illness, disease, and injury.

Growth can be measured. Development 1. Development is quantitative as well as qualitative. 2. In this with the physical changes cognitive social and emotional change are also included. 3. It happen due to motor and adjust mental processes and their interplay. 4. Development takes place till death. 5. It can be observed by matured behavior. 6. Development deals with all the aspect of personality.
