CERTIFICATION PROGRAM DETAILS Class Placement: Students are assigned to the next available class within the core requirements based on their technical background once the enrollment process has been completed. Subsequent classes are then scheduled approximately 3-6 weeks apart to allow the students time to grasp the course material from each subject. The interval period may fluctuate slightly due to the demand for the classes. Class Hours:
Day classes run 9:30am-5:30pm on specified dates Evening/Saturday classes run 6:00pm-9:30pm on specified weeknights and 9:30am-5:30pm on any specified Saturday dates
Exam Preparation: After attending each course, we recommend that students allocate at least 30-40 hours of self-study time to prepare for each of the MCP exams. This study time should include repeating lab exercises, taking practice exams (provided with the package) and incorporating the use of any additional exam preparation material.
Although the MCP exam doesnt have to be taken right after each class session, students are urged to work with one of our Education Counselors to set up a schedule for taking the Microsoft Certification exams. This will encourage students to stay focused on their certification goal.
Grading/Student Assessment Policy: At the end of a class, the instructor will give each student a letter grade assessing the students performance in class. A grade report can be produced for the student upon request. Continuing Education Unit (CEU) can be earned through our College Accredited Program with San Francisco State University.
