Why get into something that tests a code just to test? Get into it to make a difference..!!

Its 10-sep-2011 a pleasant day, about 170 testing enthusiasts gather at Logica Pvt, Ltd., Chennai to learn , share , discuss , grow and beyond. The energy at the venue is very infectious with crowd looking forward for to a signature event - Chennai Testers Meet 6th edition in association with Indian Testing Board Chennai.

The event started at about 10:00am with a welcome speech by Ramapriya Raju who heads the testing team at Logica, Chennai. The welcome note was then followed by an informative session on Leaf Framework which is used by Logica and was well presented by Poornima Budda. This frame work introduces new methodology which is an in-house outcome of R&D Unit at Logica. Testers were impressed by the cutting edge innovation the Leaf Framework. Q&A on Leaf Framework was well received and curious questions put forward by the audience were well; handled, technically. Yet another interesting and mesmerizing session by RamPriya raju with lots of stress laid on testing for Emerging Technologies. The speaker conveyed importance of being abreast with latest technologies and how common sense helps in making of an efficient testing. A whole new concept called crowd testing was introduced. All the testers will have a bigger role to play as cloud computing is spreading wide across the industry. The final session for the day was a debate where all the participants of the event were asked to choose a common topic by coming to a consensus. The participants have then agreed to discuss on Crowd Testing. Various pros and cons were discussed and finally the important points were summarized. The event concluded with a networking lunch with all the participants, Speakers and Organizer
