Stability Chamber Calibration Procedure

The document outlines a stability chamber calibration procedure that involves placing calibrator probes in specified areas of the chamber, running it for 24 hours at operational temperature and humidity conditions while recording temperature and humidity readings from 8 probes every 30 minutes using a data logger, and ensuring the recorded readings are within ±2°C and ±5% of the set points to verify proper calibration.

Stability chamber calibration procedure Calibration shall be done at operational temperature and humidity conditions. 1.

Place the calibrator probes at specified areas in the stability chamber as shown in Annex-1. 2. Ensure that all temperature and relative humidity probes of calibrator shall be kept near to the probes located in the chamber. 3. Set the time interval as 30 minutes for data to be recorded in data logger. 4. Run the humidity chamber for 24 hours with these settings and record temperature and relative humidity readings of 8 temperature channels and 8 channels of relative humidity with the help of data logger. 5. After completion of defined 24 hours, take print out of the report generated by the data logger and remove all the probes placed in the chamber. 6. Calibration shall be done by using calibrated data logger by in house maintenance department or by an external agency. 7. Acceptance criteria: For temperature and relative humidity recorded at any time in the report should be within the following limits. Temperature: Set temperature of the chamber 2C Relative Humidity: Set RH% of the chamber 5% Frequency: Once in a year 15days
