~Executive Summary
The project begins with understanding the in and out oI the term service, hotel and
service mix. The study includes a basic reIerence to Ieatures, uses, types, methods, etc oI
service, hotel and service mix. This project tries to highlight the importance oI service mix in
a hotel industry and the way it is done and why it is done.
This project also highlights the recent trends used in service mix by a Iirm explaining
various terms and methods which are being used recently.
Also this Iirms highlights the service mix in TA1 Group of Industries. Being a
genuine Iirms, I have tried to do maximum justice to the topic by using real liIe questionnaire
and actual researches.

~SCOPE OF STUDY

This project has been prepared with an intention to make one realize and
understand the importance oI service mix in hotel industry.
Service today is a very important Iactor to a customer regardless oI the
diIIerentiation in customers. Hotel industry in India being a service industry and at a booming
stage should be more concerned about customer satisIaction. To attain this, the industry needs
to adopt service mix.
This project not only aims to present theoretical knowledge but also the
practical aspects oI current scenario and live examples Irom real Iirms.
