Ma’am:

Greetings of peace and prosperity!

This is in response to your letter dated November 12, 2007 regarding the additional deduction
of five percent (5%) sales commission on all commercial credit cards.

With regards to this ma’am, we inform your good office that we never exercise the said
commissionship in all our outlets. However, we give the following discount terms during sale
periods:
For regular priced items
• twenty percent (20%) discount on cash basis
• fifteen percent (15%) discount on credit cards
For our 50% less, markdown items
• fifty percent (50%) discount on cash basis
• forty five percent (45%) discount on credit cards.

In this scheme we can shoulder the five percent (5%) credit card sales commission only on
SALE PERIODS.
