Gantt Chart

A Gantt chart is a horizontal bar chart developed in 1917 by Henry Gantt as a production control tool. It provides a graphical illustration of a schedule that helps plan, coordinate, and track specific tasks in a project. Gantt charts can range from simple versions created on paper to more complex automated versions created using project management applications.
