ROALD DAHL'S BIOGRAPHY
Roald Dahl is the writer who was a very famous and he was an owner of many popular reading books. He was born in Llandaff, Wales on September 13th 1916. In his family, there are four people; father, Harald, elder sister, Astri, his mother, Sofie and him. His dad was died when he was just only three years old so Sofie who is his mother was left to raise two stepchildren and her own four children( Alfhild, Roald, Else and Asta) In 1953, Roald Dahl was married to a woman called Patricia Neal who was the actress. Then he was married again with Felicity Ann Crossland in 1983. Roald Dahl have totally of five children. There are Oliver, Theo, Ophelia and Lucy. When he was a child he didn't get a very good grade and his was not a good writer in school either. He did not have a very impressed report. He said that if he had been able to stay on at school he would have studied and become a doctor. Roald Dahl helped the children how to read and he wrote a very interesting books that made the kids wanted to read more than playing computer or other technology things. His life was very busy because when he was young he had lost his father and he was sent to boarding school moreover he need to join world war two.During World War Two he joined the Royal Air Force and was trained to fly combat mission. Roald Dahl's interests were wide and passionate, from racing grey hounds to breeding homing budgies, medical inventions, orchids, onion gambling, golf, wine, music, art, mushrooming and the history of chocolate. In addition, he was the collector, when he was young he usually collected conkers and bird's eggs leading on to works of art and antiques. He was died on 23rd of November 1990 at the age of 74 years at his home in Oxfordshire, England. He was diagnosed with a race blood disorder, Myelodysplastic anemia. I have been a bit off colour these last few months he wrote in a newsletter to his young fans feeling sleepy when I should not have been and without that lovely old bubbly energy that drives one to write books and drink gin and chase after girls
