SPMService Process Module
An SPM works as a resource pool. The resources in an SPM are divided into four groups. Each group is controlled by a subsystem of the SPUa board. Therefore, each subsystem of the SPUa board is teamed with 11 DSPs on a DPUb board The 11 DSPs teamed with one subsystem of the SPUa board are distributed on two DPUb boards. Five DSPs are located on one DPUb board, and the other six DSPs are located on the other DPUb board. The RSS subrack can be configured with 2 SPMs and an RBS subrack with 3 SPMs. The RNC supports a maximum of 17 SPMs
