The Ox and The Colt (Ing)

An ox and a colt arrive at a water hole at the same time to drink. The ox argues that as the older animal, it should be allowed to drink first out of respect for its age and experience. However, the colt rebuts that the world has changed and today belongs to the young. When the ox demands honor for what oxen have done, plowing fields for kings, the colt points out that horses have served kings for centuries by carrying them. An argument ensues and the two animals prepare to fight, but notice circling vultures overhead waiting for the kill. The colt then persuades the ox that there is enough water for both, and they drink together peacefully.
