Risk Methods

The document discusses risks in testing methods. The two major components of risk analysis are probability of a negative event and potential loss from the event. The amount of testing done is directly related to the amount of risk. The four methods of risk analysis are judgment-based approaches, cost-based approaches, attribute-based approaches, and tool-based approaches. The three primary testing risks are budget, test environment, and number of qualified test resources. Traditional system testing is not just done at the end of development but may be conducted multiple times throughout the project.
