Project Title: “Thermal Analysis of a Pin fin Using Finite Element Methods and
by using ANSYS software package”
Brief overview of project:

The objective of our project is to determine the temperature distribution of a Pin fin
subjected to heating, using Finite element method and also by using mechanical
application software package “ANSYS”. To achieve this, complete design and
drawing of a pin fin has been made under guidance of project guide and the analysis
is carried out by applying the concept of finite element method techniques to get the
temperature distribution at various points and we have verified the results with the
results obtained by using ANSYS package and were found to be same.
