I am computer literate and have a good knowledge of MS word, Excel and Office. I am a quick and keen learner. I have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with and meeting new people. I work well independently as well as working effectively with others as part of a team, I have experience in working to deadlines and ensuring I not only meet the deadline but make sure the job is done to the best of my ability. Company: The Beechfield House Hotel, Wiltshire www.beechfieldhouse.co.uk Position Held: From/To: Responsibilities: Within this role I worked as part of a Team Front of House. My roles included serving food and drinks to customers in the restaurant as well serving canaps and teas and coffees at private functions. The Restaurant catered for up to 75 covers, we also had a number of small private rooms, catered for 50, & two rooms for 14 each. Throughout my role as a waitress I had to work with a range of different customers ensuring I left them happy with the service I provided. I reported directly to the Restaurant Manager I was regularly asked to work on reception throughout the day; this allowed me to gain confidence on answering telephone calls and develop a well spoken telephone manner. This also enabled me to develop my skills even further when using a computer to take bookings and making appointments. I worked in a team of 2 Receptionists and was also responsible for reservations.
