Understanding Intel HEX File

This document presents an example assembly language program and its corresponding Intel HEX file. The assembly program clears the accumulator, loads a value into the register R7, complements the accumulator value, stores it in port 1, and uses DJNZ instructions to decrement and loop until both registers reach 0. The resulting Intel HEX file contains three records that encode the binary program for comparison against the assembly listing.
