Read the passage below and answer the following questions.

During the last school holidays, my friends Zul, Ram and I visited my Uncle Rashids farm. It was a one-day trip and we were very excited. Besides, I was also looking forward to eating my Aunt Ainis cooking. All the dishes she cooks taste delicious. My favourite dish is chicken rendang and hers is the best. When we reached the farm my uncle took us to the fields and showed us around. We were surprised at what he did with food leftovers. The process is scientific and is called composting, he started. Your aunt and I collect vegetable discards, fruit peel as well as dead leaves and plants and cover them with soil. We leave them to compost and the resulting product acts as a natural fertilizer for use in organic agriculture. In this way we recycle all our leftover food. We were amazed with the piles of soil we saw in the fields and the way they were sprayed with water. Ram then asked, Where does cooked food go then? My uncle replied, Well, we feed the chickens with leftover cooked food! This way nothing is wasted. Perhaps we could also do something like this at school, suggested Zul. We already recycle paper and aluminium cans. In this way we can also recycle leftover food.
