By Mrs. Lovato Presentation For Regular & Enriched Mathematics

1. Pascal's Triangle begins with three 1s arranged in a triangle format. Each subsequent row is generated by adding adjacent numbers from the preceding row. 2. The process can be continued infinitely, adding 1s on each side of the sums to maintain the triangle shape. 3. The document provides an example of Pascal's Triangle calculated up to the 12th row and explains that it explores properties of the triangle like color patterns.

Pascals Triangle Begins with three number one digits arranged in a triangle format.

We will place hexagons around the numbers to help us keep the triangle readable.

Next, you add the base number one digits to get the sum which is the number two digit.

1 1 1

Then you write two more number one digits on each side of the sum.

Repeat the process by adding the adjacent base digits in the triangle.

1 1 1
1

1 2 1
3 1

Continue to write number one digits on each side of the sums to keep the triangle shape. techfed kerala

This process can continue on forever. In mathematics we call this Infinity.

1 1 1 2 1 1 3 3 1 1 4 9 4 1
Complete the triangle for all the cells on your worksheet. techfed kerala

Your triangle should look like this one when you are done.
