Problem21 41

Two positive charges q are located a distance a from each other on the x-axis. The electric field E is calculated as: 1) Halfway between the charges (x = 0), the electric field is 0 due to the charges cancelling each other out. 2) For any position x greater than a, the electric field is calculated as the sum of the electric field due to each charge. 3) For any position x less than -a, the electric field is calculated as the sum of the electric field due to each charge but with the opposite sign.
