If you do not live in the Auckland region, or you are applying for a limited purpose visa/permit, please use the Visitors Visa/Permit Application (INZ 1017). If the application is approved, we will provide an approval letter instead of a permit label. You may use the approval letter in exactly the same way that a label would be used.
