The verb patterns are groups of English's verbs. These groups are conformed because they share / have something in common ( Feature, particular roles or a common way to be useful )

The uses change the meaning

EXAMPLES
STOP: I stopped drinking coffe ( I gave up the habit) I stopped to drink a coffe (I stopped doing else in order to have a cup of coffe ) TRY: I try to sleep ( I wanted to sleep, but I couldnt) I try counting sheep and drinking a glass of warm milk (there was possible ways of getting to sleep)
