As compressional strength improves, there is an observable reduction in muscular tension and rigidity. In July 2008, there was a significant amount of chaotic muscular activity that resulted in uncontrolled movements and an inability to remain seated in a stable and comfortable position. As the sequence of images shows, the implementation of strategic fascial strengthening protocols has resulted in significantly less chaos and accessory muscular tension. It is important to note that these results were achieved without direct intervention on the muscles (stretching, bracing, casting, botox, etc ). The muscular tension that existed previously was symptomatic of the profound compressional weakness, therefore as the hydraulic strength improved the muscular tension reduced. October 2010 April 2011
