RECOMMENDATIONS:
In order to minimize delivery time, pizza hut must focus on following steps; y The time to pack the pizza should be reduced to 10 mins at least; this target can be achieved through increasing labor force especially in kitchen area. Number of riders must also be increased especially for delivering in those areas where the demand is high for pizzas in order to immediately cater that demand. If riders will be increased then we can effectively reduce the time limit from 8 mins to may be 5-6 mins. Same as in case of reporting back, by increasing the employees, reporting back step will take maximum 5-6 mins. Besides pizza hut must use latest technology in order to make more pizzas in less time. But it must not avoid it s just in time feature for which it s famous for. It must also increase the number of branches where the demand is extremely high. In this way the total existing process time can be reduced to 24-26 mins approx.
