This document contains population forecasts by policy area for Montgomery County, Maryland from 2005 to 2030. It projects that the total population living in households in non-rural areas will increase from 869,342 in 2005 to 1,066,758 in 2030, and the total rural population will increase from 57,858 to 59,442 over the same period. The largest population increases are forecasted for Clarksburg, Gaithersburg City, Rockville City, Shady Grove, and White Flint. The source is the Montgomery County Planning Department from July 2007.
