2G BTS3900A(outdoor)
The layout of the BTS3900A is as shown in the picture. The APM30 and RF cabinet should be near to the cable ladder. Two battery cabinet should stack.

The plinth
The BTS should be installed on the steel rack or concrete plinth For the steel rack, use the bolt and nut to fix the base frame of cabinet. For the concrete plinth, use the expansion blot to fix the base frame.

Fix the base to the plinth and check the levelness with level bar, if the level bar is not in the middle, use the adjusting pad to adjust the levelness 2 base need to be installed, one is for BTS3900A, one is for battery cabinet

Push the cabinet so that the cabinet can be in full contact with the installation block Use two bolts to fix the cabinet to the base

PSU
Special handle is needed to remove the DRFU
Install the BBU, DRFU, PMU and PSU to the cabinet as shown in the picture. The BBU should be close to the PDU panel, without space between PDU and BBU

Load5
Connector to UPEU on BBU DC power cable for DRFU
Connect the DC cable to the Load5 of the PDU with OT terminal. Blue cable as 48v, and black as 0 V. Connect the power terminal to the UPEU card on BBU. Connect the power cable to the corresponding DRFU, 6 cables to 6 DRFU. The other end is already connected.

GTMU DRFU
CPRI cable
Connect the CPRI cable between the GTMU and DRFU, the 6 ports on GTMU should be connected to the corresponding DRFU. The port on DRFU should be port0 The CPRI cable route should be at left side of the cabinet, as show in the picture

RF cable
Upper 6 jumper to be installed Usually, the lower 6 jumper is not needed

Usually, one cabinet has 6 jumpers, please refer to the picture for the jumper and RF cable connection. One end of the jumper is straight DIN connector, the other end (BTS side) is right angle DIN connector. The connectors need to be made on site. The configuration of the cell is as showing in the picture:S2, S2 PBT, S3, S4

Step1:Install the lower cabinet and remove the cover Step2:Install the wiring cover to the lower cabinet Step3:Seal the wiring cover with mud. Step4:Install the upper cabinet on top of the lower cabinet, fasten the upper cabinet with 4 bolts.

Battery breaker
Use the black DC cable as 48V, and red DC cable as 0V. 2 battery banks to be installed in each cabinet. Attention! Switch off the battery breaker in battery cabinet and APM30 when installing Battery terminal the battery!

PDU
Install the 4 x 4mm^2 armored cable to the terminal of PDU, L1,L2,L3,N: brown, black, grey, blue. When 3 phase power is used, the short circuit bar should be removed; when single phase power is used, install the short circuit bar. AC power cable should be protected in the GI pipe , and the armor of the cable should be grounded with the hose clip

Install the SPD box on the meter cubicle, the SPD should be grounded.

One end of the battery sensor cable is already connected to the APMI card BAT_TEM1 port, so connect the other end to one cell of the battery.

Connect the door sensors of the two battery cabinets and the APM30 as red line shown in the picture Connect the sensor cable to the socket of the prior door sensor, so the connection of the 3 door sensors are serial

Step1:Switch off all the AC and DC breaker Step2:Power on the AC input breaker, check the indicator of the PMU and PSU, For PMU, if RUN is 1s on and 1s off, and ALARM is off, it mean the module is working normally For PSU, if the is on, and is off, it means the module is working normally
Step3:Use the multimeter to measure the DC output voltage, the normal range should be -38.4V to -57V. Step4:Switch on the DC output breaker for the related module, switch on the DC output breaker on the DCDU

Connect the E1 cable to MW, check the indicator LIU1 on the GTMU, if its always off, it means the E1 is normal. After the BTS is on air, make some test call, check the cell broadcast service and GPRS service. The following alarm need to be checked on site: Door alarm of all the 4 cabinets Water sensor of the cabinet Temperature and Humidity Battery sensor Mains failure and PSU failure
