Re So 122011

The COMELEC resolution extends the filing period for candidacy by two additional days for special cases. It notes that the original filing period was sufficient for freshmen but some courses and positions were not filled. The extension until July 12th allows those still hesitating to decide and file for open officer and representative positions to strengthen future Sanggunian leadership. Candidacy submissions will only be accepted during specified hours on July 11-12 and none after the final deadline of 5pm on July 12th.
