Usually, educational institutes and corporate houses block websites like socialization sites, public mail services, download sites, music sites etc . Websites could be blocked using server proxies, firewalls or some utilities. If the website itself is blocking you, then you have one set of solutions. If th ere is something between you and the website which is blocking you, then you hav e a different set of solutions. This type of block is designed to block where you are coming from. The way to ge t around this type of block is to change your IP address, either permanently or temporarily. Other content which is commonly filtered includes websites about drugs, politics, religion, ga mbling, hacking, and entertainment.
