The document outlines different composite repair procedures and safety precautions. It describes delamination injection repair, external patch repair, and scarf repair where surface smoothness is essential. It also discusses bolted external patch repair, noting the possibility of shear failure at the bolted edge but that it can resist huge shear stresses and be applied to both sides where more strength is needed. Safety precautions for all repairs include preventing inhalation of fine dust particles from drilling, cutting, or grinding composite materials.

TASK-2: The procedures of the following composite repair job with relevant safety precautions need to be observed are

given below: a. De-lamination injection repair: b. External patch repair: c. Scarf repair: Where surface smoothness is essential. High joint efficiency Used critical highly loaded component Required a careful preparation of damage area y Correct scarf angle y De-lamination tolerance Patch must be match with damage surface Double patch repair y Double scarf joint permit shorter joint length y Required less material to be removed

Safety precaution: draining, drilling, cutting, teaming of composite structure can create fine dust particle which can contaminated air. d. Bolted external patch repair: For this repair there is a possibility of shear failure at the bolted side for the edge of original lamination. But can resist huge amount of shear stress. This can be applied on both side of more strength needed. If plans are thick, bolt tolerance keep small. Safety precaution:
