Quality Management Plan (QMP) Plan to ensure a maid performs QC, includes managing/acquiring maid, budget & timing, i.e. every Thurs 1-5pm Metrics Specific target, i.e. thoroughly clean entire kitchen counter weekly Checklist Specific items for maid to do with timing for some, i.e. once every 4 weeks Process Improvement Plan (PIP) In QA, periodically (i.e. every 4 weeks) review above completed checklist from QC against actual results Use PIP Was checklist Completed? Understood? Useful in measuring? Compare against previous checklists to analyze quality improvements Did maid clean counter (thoroughly & entirely) like the checklist noted? Recommended Corrective Action Checklist not understood make more clear, i.e. add remove all items from counter before cleaning Maid did poor job speak with her Counter cleaning was missed add it to the list Budget is tight or cleaning metric too high clean counter thoroughly every other week and around items opposite week Maid uses checklist - checks quality of work she performed Note - actual performance of cleaning is executing/building product (a clean home); only checking quality of cleaning is QC Recommended actions i.e. maid requests checklist update Recommended defect repair maid instructed to report repair needs
