Program Change Control Program Change Control is a formal process used to ensure that changes to a product or system are

introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner. It reduces the possibility that unnecessary changes will be introduced to a system without forethought, introducing faults into the system or undoing changes made by other users of software. The goals of a change control procedure usually include minimal disruption to services, reduction in back-out activities, and cost-effective utilization of resources involved in implementing change. Actually no formal procedure or policy is implemented at CHCL. Management has to define the effective policy and procedures to be adhered to.

User Account Management Actual process Request from head of department and HR department is sought for account creation. Request from user to change password / or reset password. Request from HR department is sought for account termination Password management Password are required to be changed by user upon creation for windows authentication. Password are set for Express and Sparcs application.

Physical Access Security to the server room Biometric Access control system available for access to MCT server Room.

Business continuity/ Disaster receovery plan Formal plan not available for CHCL. Backup
