Dear Sir,

With respect to the captioned details, I request you to kindly address the following queries for
immediate resolution:

1. I had issued a cheque #224250 dated 8 th Oct 2010 of an amount of Rs. 15,000/-
(Ruppes Fifteen thousand only ) to Mr. ALOK KUMAR BEHARI. When the same was
presented to the bank the cheque was not honoured on account of instrument not being
with a proper date. On checking my account the status displayed against the transaction
is as below

08 Oct 2010 I-W Chq Ret-INSTRUMENT WITHOUT PROPER DA 000000224250

I called the customer care and was advised that the date format mentioned in the
cheque was not as per the format prescribed by the RBI. While, I am unable to recall the
exact date format that I mentioned on the cheque, I usually write in the format “08 OCT
2010”. However, the customer care official was unable to help with the same as they did
not have a scanned copy of the cheque. Also, please note that the aforementioned
format is what I usually use in all my cheques and they have all cleared without problem.
This is the first time that I am facing this problem.

Request you to please send me a scanned copy of the concerned cheque to my

mail id [email protected] .

2. Kindly ‘Stop Payment’ against the cheque number 224250 and confirm the same.

Thanking you,

Abhilash Kumar

Dear Sir,

With respect to the captioned details, I request you to kindly address the following query for
immediate resolution:

1. I use the Net banking facility of HDFC bank and had activated the Third party
transfer(TPT) facility. The last transaction I made using the TPT was was on 4 th August
2010, which I have reproduced below

04/08/10 ,NEFT DR-CITI0000002-NEHA TANEJA ,04/08/10 , 14000.00

Now however, when I log in, I am surprised to find that the TPT facility has been
deactivated. I am therefore unable to make any online transfer of money.

Please be advised that I have not given any instructions for such cancellation. I request
you to reactivate the same at the earliest.

Thanking you,

Abhilash Kumar
