Step 1: Unzip the files to the folders

Step 2: If you know your hostname and host id of your machine jus Start Installation / Complete Installation

(When unzipping, It may ask you for the second folder, if so, please specify the second unzipped folder)

When the license file is asked just give the license.txt generated in Step7.

Step 3: After completing installation open 'MAGNiTUDE' folder from the first unzipped.  Run AP13_Calc.exe

Step 4: From the programs menu start -> ANSYS, Inc. License Manager -> Server ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility

In the License Server Admin Window, click -> 'Display the License Server Machine HostId" .

A Small window ('Windows HostID') appears with your machine's host name and FlexID:

Step 5: From the MAGNiTUDE folder, run 'AP13_Calc' : A command window appears and for the first question

(License for the current server) you have to answer 'No" (type 'N' in the command prompt)

Step 6: Type your Host name and Host ID from the 'Windows Host ID' application.

Step 7: The License file 'License.txt' will be generated (for your host) in the same folder.

Copy the license.txt file to the Ansys License folder

Step 8: Run the ANSYS, Inc. License Manager -> Server ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility -> Install the license file
Step 9: Start License server. If the license server not starting up, then reboot the machine and try again.
