Name - Section - : Lab 2 Coupling & Bypass Capacitors

1) The document describes a lab experiment to demonstrate the effect of coupling and bypass capacitors in electronic circuits. It includes the equipment needed, circuit diagrams, procedure, and questions. 2) The procedure involves constructing two circuits - one with a coupling capacitor and one with a bypass capacitor. It instructs measuring the output voltage at different frequencies and recording the results in provided tables. 3) The questions ask about how a coupling capacitor behaves for DC and AC circuits and the worst case frequency an amplifier designer must consider when selecting a coupling capacitor size.

2) Connect the function generator to the circuit. - Set the function to sine wave.
- Set the frequency to the calculated value of fc.
3) Measure and record the output voltage. - Set the output voltage of the generator to 1 Vp-p
Record the values in Table 1 R3
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the generator set to 0.1fc & 10fc
