I. WARM UP (2 MIN.):

II. LEAD IN :

ACTIVITY 1 ( 5 MIN. )

FRONTAL AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY

AIMS: 1.TO LISTEN A SONG;


2. TO IDENTIFY THE SEASONS AND ASSOCIATE
THEM WITH THE CORRESPONDING MONTHS OF THE YEAR;

PROCEDURE :Students listen a song about weather.Students have to look


at the picture and identify the seasons and associate them with the
corresponding months of the year
ACTIVITY 2 ( 15 MIN. )

FRONTAL AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY

AIMS: 3.TO ASSOCIATE SENTENCES TO IMAGES;

PROCEDURE : Teacher holds up an image representing weather changes


and specific written structures.After recognizing the image held up by the
teacher and finding out the coresponding structure, the students read it
outloud and then write it down in their notebooks.

*We exercize the structures in English,attaching on the panel the images.

III.CONTROLLED PRACTICE

pictures from exercise 1,page 104,using the special phrase WHAT’ S
THE ...LIKE?

AIMS : 5.TO DESCRIBE AND TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER.

PROCEDURE : Students talk about the weather conditions and the


temperature using the questions from exercise 2,page 105.
IV. FOLLOW UP

ACTIVITY 5 ( 10 MIN.)

AIMS :6. TO ROLE-PLAY A DIALOGUE.

PROCEDURE :The students play a dialogue in order to complete the chart


about the weather in different cities of the world..

INDIVIDUAL WORK

AIMS:TO FIND HIDDEN WORDS.

PROCEDURE : Students have to find the hidden words.

V. HOMEWORK( 2 MIN.)

Individually, Ss will have to do a project about weather in their


town/country. For the following week, they will have to observe the weather
and to write a weather forecast, describing the weather, using pictures and
other materials.

VI. ENDING THE LESSON ( 1 MIN.)

Students get a poem about the weather!
