Lecture 3 1 Orthographic Projection

Orthographic projection is a method of depicting the shape of a 3D object in 2D. It involves projecting the views of an object onto imaginary planes perpendicular to the lines of sight. There are three principal views - top, front and side. The first angle projection method positions the front view on the left and the top view above it. Projectors are perpendicular lines extending from the views to the plane of projection. Orthographic projection is used to create technical drawings for manufacturing and construction.
