This document provides barcodes to configure a Voyager USB scanner for either USB POS or USB HID mode. Scanning the barcode labeled "Enable USB Point-of-Sale (POS) Mode" will set the scanner to USB POS mode, while scanning "Enable USB Keyboard (HID) Mode" will set it to USB HID mode. Scanning the "Recall Defaults" barcode may disable the USB POS mode, requiring rescanning of the USB POS barcode to re-enable it.

CONFIGURING FOR USB POS OR HID

The following bar codes can be used to configure a Voyager USB Series scanner
(MS95xx-38) for Keyboard (HID) or USB Point-of-Sale (POS).

If USB POS is desired, scan the Enable USB POS Mode bar code below.

Enable USB Point-of-Sale (POS) Mode

If the Recall Defaults bar code is scanned while reconfiguring the


scanner the USB POS mode will no longer be enabled. It will be
necessary to re-scan the Enable USB POS Mode for USB POS mode.

If USB HID is desired, scan the Enable USB HID Mode bar code below.
